Described as a 'surrealist absurd clown boy man', Paul Currie is not your regular standup. His bizarre strand of comedy-meets-street-clown makes for a high-energy show. Currie lists his influences as British music hall, Perry Como, ironing boards and The Deer Hunter, and has been compared to The Goons, Monty Python, Spike Milligan and The Mighty Boosh, so expect plenty of physical comedy and lots of silliness in the hour-long show at Soho Theatre Upstairs. Recommended for ages 16+
About Soho Theatre
The Soho Theatre Company was formed in 1969 by Verity Bargate and Fred Proud, but it didn't have a permanent home until 2000, when its current Dean Street location opened. This modern space was the first theatre to be built with National Lottery money. More about Soho Theatre
