The history of J.M. Barrie and his Peter Pan is an endearing and enduring one; indeed, the real-life events of the author telling stories about The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up to the Llewelyn Davies children in Kensington Gardens formed the basis of the 2004 film Finding Neverland. And you'll be able to find Neverland in the very park where the magic began over 100 years ago. The Neverland Pavilion is a rather whizz-y, in the round theatre with 360 degree projected scenery, ensconcing the audience in the midst of Peter Pan's adventures as he flies faraway over London with Wendy, John and Michael, embarking on a journey that will lead to the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell, kidnappings, the ticking crocodile and, ultimately, Captain Hook's ship. We're not convinced the acting and script live up to the technical wizardry, which is a shame, but families will still flock to see this. Some moments may be a little scary for children under 5, so parents are asked to use their discretion.
