Pop Up Screens at Chelsea Old Town HallOn Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, Pop Up Screens will be at Chelsea Old Town Hall where scientists and comedians discuss the science behind classic films like Alien, Apollo 13, Terminator 2, Shaun of the Dead and Good Will Hunting. Scientists including Adam Rutherford and Steve Mould and comedians like Richard Sandling and Bec Hill will chat before the film and they'll pause the action at certain points to explain the science stuff. With Helen Arney, one third of Festival of the Spoken Nerd, presenting and guests like Dallas Campbell - the go-to guy for science stuff who presents on the Gadget Show and Bang Goes the Theory - as well as live experiments this promises to be more fun than experimenting with a Bunsen burner.
