Rounding off Suspense - the first London Puppetry Festival for adults to be held in London in more than 25 years - the Puppet Grinder Cabaret brings together a mixed bag of live puppetry, ventriloquism and animated short films, all overseen by a wildly enthusiastic compere. Previously seen at The Little Angel Theatre and this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Puppet Grinder Cabaret has something for everyone, from Shakespeare to a sock puppet singing Kylie Minogue songs. Prepare for an evening of weird and entertaining puppetry - perfect for those who like their puppets with a cabaret kind of attitude.About Pleasance Theatre
The Pleasance Theatre opened in 1995 and quickly became one of the best fringe venues in London. The building was a former timber store for the London Omnibus Company (hence the huge winch by the entrance) and the opening production was Bus! The Musical. More about Pleasance Theatre
