Raymond Gubbay's take on Bizet's 19th century French opera Carmen returns to the Royal Opera House for a limited run of 14 performances, telling the story of a captivating love triangle between Carmen, a fiery gypsy girl, her hapless prison guard Don Jose, and the glamorous bullfighter Escamillo.
