Dispelling the myth that bingo is a pastime only for the golden oldies, Rebel Bingo has taken the game into unknown territory, London's nightlife scene. Having been on a tour around the world, Rebel Bingo hasn't been in London since April. So we're happy to report that it's back, returning to The Forum on 5th December. It's risqué, it's crude and, being honest, it's only loosely based around bingo. The night does welcome a ringleader and his assistants, all of whom will be dressed to the nines in Lady GaGa-esque attire, to call out numbers in a fashion that would make your Granny squirm, and it boasts a number of kitsch prizes; however, the main event is the party. With music, cocktails, burlesque performers and a carnival atmosphere that continues past any community centre's closing hours, this is quite simply an intoxicating and hedonistic evening with the addition of a few bingo balls. Competition:
Russian Standard Vodka will be providing VIP treatment at Rebel Bingo this December and LondonTown has got a pair of VIP Rebel Bingo tickets to give away. Russian Standard Vodka will offer the experience in the House of Davai, taking over the viewing platform of The Forum and serving ultra-clean and smooth Russian Mules.
For your chance to win exclusive tickets to the House of Davai and Rebel Bingo simply answer the following question:
When was the last time Rebel Bingo was on in London?
Send your answer to email@example.com with 'Rebel Bingo VIP' in the subject line by 4pm on Friday 5th December 2014. Please also include your full name and contact number in the body of the email. The first name out of the hat wins and the winner's name will be added to the guest list. Good luck!
Once a gorgeous art deco cinema, The Forum is now an essential mid-sized rock venue. It's got everything you want from the North London rock scene, with superb bands week-in week-out, and a fully-lubricated, enthusiastic and music-loving crowd. Well-designed and well-organised it manages to avoid the bar queues that are a feature of so much London gigging, while the main stage has great sound and a design that brings bands far closer to their audiences than you have any reason to expect in a venue this size.
