Sir Trevor Nunn directs an all-star cast including Patricia Hodge, Caroline Quentin, Ben Mansfield and Rory Bremner, in Noel Coward's Relative Values, a classic comedy about the culture clash between the worlds of Hollywood and the English aristocracy, set in the 1950s. Olivier Award winner Patricia Hodge plays Felicity, Caroline Quentin stars as Moxie and Rory Bremner who gives "a witty and persuasive performance" (Telegraph) while making his theatre debut as Crestwell the butler. The play centres on the consternation caused when a young earl announces he is to marry a Hollywood actress. The family's embarrassment is deepened when it transpires that the starlet's sister is none other than Moxie (Quentin), the Earl's mother's maid at Marshwood House. This production comes to the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End following a successful run at Theatre Royal Bath and a UK tour last year. Reviewing the play in Bath, The Telegraph critic Charles Spencer described it as "a production of almost continuous guilty pleasure" correctly predicting it, "must surely be destined for the West End".

About Harold Pinter Theatre

The Harold Pinter Theatre's 1881 interior is one of the oldest in London and one of the most charming, in spite of the damage wrought by an ill-considered restoration in 1954. The Renaissance-style auditorium, with its wooden panels, and gold ceiling and wallpaper, still retains many original features, while the unpretentious exterior is the most attractive and unspoilt among London's smaller theatres.
