Mixing improvisation with classical-standard playing, the Wally Fields Jazz Orchestra offer a tribute to the great crossover composer George Gershwin. This is the composer's original jazz version of his most famous piece, and if you only know the later orchestral arrangement, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the differences, especially the wonderful bass clarinet opening.
