Riverside FeastSummer 2014 is the last time the public will have access to Battersea Pop-Up Park before the 42 acre redevelopment at Battersea Power Station begins and Street Feast has partnered with Everyman Cinema to create Riverside Feast, a summer-long food and film event held every Thursday to Sunday evening. Alongside top eats and a 1000-capacity covered bar area, visitors will have a chance to visit the outdoor cinema, featuring a state of the art, high definition, nine-meter LED screen showing a selection of past and current flicks including Wayne's World and The Wolf of Wall Street, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Drive. There'll also be Premier Pods where you can enjoy the luxury of pre-film table service from your choice of Street Feast traders. It sure beats a packet of popcorn. If you don't want to pay to get in then get there before 6pm on a Thursday or Friday evening. Riverside Feast is open four days a week but the park is open every day when you can get tea, cakes, coffee and ice cream. A great way to spend a sunny day lying on the grass by the riverside. Enjoy it before the it's all off-limits.

About Battersea Power Station

This riverside power station, the masterpiece of architect Giles Gilbert Scott, Grade II listed Battersea Power Station has taken on an iconic status in the capital. With its huge frame and four white smoke-stacks (two of which were built in 1933, the remaining two in 1955) protruding into the London sky, the construction initially received protests from those who felt the building was too large and would be an eyesore.
