For the first time ever a whole fleet of Laser SB3 racing yachts will enter the London Docklands waterway for a series of City regattas throughout September. Organisers at LynxSports say the event will be open for both experienced sailors and non-sailors and will be geared towards team building and corporate entertainment days that can be tailored to suit the specific requirement of companies and businesses. LynxSports have partnered with the Novotel London Excel in Docklands to arrange special breakfast/lunch/dinner/prize-giving drinks events making use of the hotel's splendid balcony overlooking the water. Henri Lloyd will climb aboard as a clothes sponsor to provide branded team kits and sailing jackets to be given away to the winners. A number of Olympic sailors, including British gold medallist Sarah Ayton, have been lined up to skipper the boats and give motivational talks.
