Sarah Lucas: Art by Offenders, Secure Patients and DetaineesBritish artist Sarah Lucas presents a showcase of visual art, music, film and creative writing from a unique source - prisoners, detainees, secured patients and others in secure settings. Thousands of pieces were submitted from across the UK criminal justice system and the works carefully selected by Lucas are on display for two months at the Southbank Centre. The exhibition is presented in partnership with the Koestler Trust, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and the exhibition tours will be led by ex-offender interns, all of whom are specially recruited by the Trust.

About Southbank Centre

London's hub of cultural arts, The Southbank Centre announced in March 2013 that it's set for a £100 million revamp that will see the 1960s design finally move into the 21st century with a proposal that includes a floating glass pavilion, two more roof gardens, a space for riverside arts and a large pedestrian area.
