The School Proms showcases the best of the country's youth orchestras, rock bands, choirs and jazz ensembles from schools across the UK, giving them the once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. With around twelve to fourteen choirs and bands performing on each of three consecutive November nights, there's the chance to hear a huge diversity of emerging talent who hail from all corners of the country, from Wells to Whitstable. There are also entries from right here in London including the Dulwich College Prep Big Band (10th November) and the Bromley Youth Concert Band who perform on Wednesday 11th November. The concerts are organised by Music for Youth, an educational charity which specialises in giving kids these kinds of opportunities to perform in public.
