American jazz tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins is back at the Barbican for the London Jazz Festival following a legendary performance at the same venue two years ago when "every single person rose in an ovation" (The Telegraph). The musician, now in his eighties, is considered one of the jazz greats and has been creating music since the 1950s and 1960s. He worked with Miles Davis and Bud Powell before he turned 20 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the finest tenor saxophone players of all time.
