St Katherine Docks Good Food Market
Nearby

The St Katharine Docks Good Food Market sees twenty five food stalls setting up shop outside the Dicken's Inn, overlooking the docks, every Friday from 10am to 4pm. There's a good variety of international treats to tempt and almost every cuisine is represented from Morrocoan, Greek and Portugese, to Iranian, Jamaican, Spanish, French and Chinese. The market is run by the people from Partridges on the Kings Road who certainly know the importance of good quality ingredients. As a result, the ingredients at the St Katherine Docks market are ethically and locally sourced wherever possible, with plenty of vegetarian, gluten and dairy free options. There are also some craft stalls, and in the run up to Christmas there will be plenty of gift ideas and hand made decorations for sale.
About St Katharine Docks
It was the great engineer Thomas Telford who oversaw the building work of St Katharine Docks which began in 1827. In its heyday, as a major transport hub, the docks saw the import and storage of exotic and valuable goods including ivory and marble. More about St Katharine Docks
