For anyone who feels the force is with them and for the millions who are obsessive Star Wars fans, this exhibition is Christmas come early. It's testament to the quality of this much-loved sci-fi film that, twenty-six years after the release of the first Star Wars production, it continues to attract new fans. The exhibition, spread over 12 rooms in the grand County Hall, includes a screening of '30 Years of Visual Effects' which reveals just how far the art of creating believable outer space scenes has come. Over 140 original objects, vehicles and models specially selected from the Lucasfilm Archives will be displayed. But it's not just about looking at old props; visitors can even star alongside their favourite Star Wars characters using green screen technology. It's lightsabers at the ready for this return of the Jedi and all their intergalactic friends and foes.
