When Guy Haines meets Charles Bruno on a train, the innocent encounter turns into a nightmare for Guy as he is forced to kill a stranger or be framed for a murder he did not commit. Craig Warner adapts Patricia Highsmith's gripping 1950 novel, starring Laurence Fox as Haines and Jack Huston as Bruno. Directed by Robert Allan Ackerman. We have special ticket offers for Strangers on a Train which has been nominated for three 2014 WhatsOnStage Awards for Best Set by Tim Goodchild and Best Lighting by Tim Lutkin while Jack Huston is up for the Best Newcomer prize.

About Gielgud Theatre

From the outside, the Gielgud Theatre is an impressive sight, towering four storeys over Shaftesbury Avenue, its height further emphasized by the turret on top. The interior is also magnificent, with richly-decorated pillars supporting the boxes and lavish Baroque ornamentation. Built in 1906 and known as the Globe Theatre for most of the 20th century, it was renamed after the great actor Sir John Gielgud in 1994. More about Gielgud Theatre
