Strawberries and ScreenIt may not be SW14 but Granary Square in King's Cross is showing all the Wimbledon action with live coverage from the BBC on one of the biggest screens in central London. Strawberries and Screen, which saw a crowd of 4,000 pack into Granary Square to watch Andy Murray win Wimbledon last year, is making a return from Monday 23rd June and running until the men's final on Sunday 6th July. This year the screen is even bigger than last year, and the first 50 or so visitors will be able to grab a deck chair. Picnics are welcome, but if you don't have time to put one together, Green and Fortune Cafe will be serving up sandwiches, jugs of Pimms, beer and soft drinks.

About Granary Square

The same size as Trafalgar Square, Granary Square is at the heart of King's Cross where the Eurostar departs and emerged as part of the 2012 regeneration of the railway station. With over 1,000 choreographed individually lit fountains in the middle, and historic buildings - including the Granary Builiding - surrounding it, the canalside square is a natural meeting place.
