London is a hive of creative activity with artists, fashion and furniture designers all taking their inspiration from living and working in the city. The Design Museum and Beefeater 24 present Super Contemporary, in recognition of the city's "dynamic design ecology" by showcasing the work of a select few influential London-based designers across several different disciplines. Radical architect Jan Kaplicky, founder of Future Systems and responsible for the futuristic media centre at Lord's Cricket Ground, and fashion designer Paul Smith are among the fifteen designers under the spotlight. Alongside are relative newcomers BarberOsgerby, who've designed bottles for Coca Cola and coat hangers for Levi's, and Industrial Facility - the European creative directors for Muji. In addition to displays marking their impressive achievements, each has been asked what they would like to give back to the city they call home. Their intriguing responses can be found both in and around the museum.
