The Teenage Cancer Trust's annual programme of concerts returns to the Royal Albert Hall this spring with an eclectic line-up of music and a star-studded comedy night to boot. Kicking off the 10-day bonanza, which is the brainchild of The Who's Roger Daltry, is rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, made up of Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), Joshua Homme (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). Brit-pop legends Suede reform for one night only for a much anticipated live gig, while Noel Gallagher will show the world just how he's coping life-after-Liam with two back-to-back largely acoustic evenings of entertaiment. Sheffield's finest, the Arctic Monkeys, make their Royal Albert Hall debut; X Factor runners-up JLS headline the Teenage Cancer Trust's first ever pop night; English two-tone ska revival band The Specials drop in to provide a bit of experience on the programme's penultimate night, before The Who cap everything off in style with a performance of Quadrophenia. Providing the gags will be baby-faced one-liner king Jimmy Carr, Welsh mirthful miserablist Rhod Gilbert and the Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding.
