TeethThe first exhibition to chart the history of the teeth profession and how it has shaped the way we live with, or without, them, Teeth at the Wellcome Collection will trace the evolution of our relationship with our teeth and what they say about us. Drawing on the collections assembled by Henry Wellcome, over 150 objects will run the gamut of teeth related items, including cartoons and caricatures, protective amulets, toothpaste advertisements and a range of chairs, drills and training tools. Emerging technologies will be explored as well as the fears and anxieties around teeth and dentistry.

About Wellcome Collection

A major and fascinating cultural venue, the Wellcome Collection combines three galleries: 'Medicine Man', 'Medicine Now' and 'special exhibitions'. In addition you'll find the famous Wellcome Library, cafe, bookshop and a 'forum' to consider issues of science, health and human identity. The 1,300 objects on display show the great variety of considerations that these topics include. More about Wellcome Collection
