The Thames Clippers high-speed catamarans offer a more relaxed commute for Londoners who can't face another Tube journey, as well as providing a pleasant river trip along the city's Thames side attractions for tourists. It may not be as reliable as the Tube but it's a lot less crowded, hot and sticky, and this way you get to see the sights along London's liquid highway. They also have a small (licensed) cafe bar at the back. A day pass is recommended for tourists who can see top attractions like the London Eye, Tate Britain and Tower Bridge from the Thames. There's no commentary but who needs one when these landmarks are so easily identified? With a day pass on a River Roamer you can hop on and off as many times as you want, disembarking to visit places like the Tower Of London, Tate Modern and The O2.
