The 1975Since finding mainstream chart success with their single Chocolate in early 2013, The 1975 have gone on to become one of the biggest new bands of the year, supporting the Rolling Stones on tour and gaining a UK number one debut album, for which they outsold the Nine Inch Nails comeback album. They also booked three nights at the O2 Academy Brixton months before the self-titled album was even released. As well as stopping by the Brixton venue in early 2014, the Manchester-formed four-piece have been invited to perform a one-off special concert at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Albert Sessions, an initiative that allows artists who have not previously headlined at the venue to showcase their skills.

About Royal Albert Hall

Classical music, rock, pop and jazz, sporting events, galas, banquets and balls and the world-famous Proms series all take place within the Royal Albert Hall's iconic oval walls. One of London's most versatile venues, it is a favourite of performers from Jose Carreras to Kylie Minogue. More about Royal Albert Hall
