The Alternative Guide to the UniverseThe Hayward Gallery gives visitors an insight into 'outsiders' this summer with an exhibition of contemporary works in a variety of media created by artists who map cities of the future, inventors of new languages and architects who design imaginary technologies. The Alternative Guide to the Universe promises to prompt us to re-examine social and cultural conventions through art works which present a departure from traditional thinking. Prepare to enter a parallel universe.
