The theatre collective Shunt presents The Architects, a disorientating promenade show in the custard halls of a former Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey and their first new show in three years. Taking the methodology of myths and memory as its starting point, The Architects uses the story of the Minotaur as its inspiration and mixes it with more contemporary tales from Greece. Describing itself as "a wildly disorientating performance", you can expect some form of audience involvement from the theatre group who made their name with a series of shows at Shunt Vaults under the London Bridge Station (closed in 2010). But unlike Shunt's previous performances, The Architects has a limited run which closes on 6th January 2013 and it's a one-off show at this venue so book while you can. Tickets are available via the National Theatre booking office.

About The Biscuit Factory

Peek Frean & Co made biscuits here in Bermondsey for 123 years, from 1866 until 1989 when the factory closed. Home to baked goods like the Bourbon and the Garibaldi, The Biscuit Factory was also where the Twiglet was born. The first mass producer of biscuits, they also made the 6ft wedding cake for Queen Elizabeth II's wedding. More about The Biscuit Factory
