Europe's longest champagne bar, next to Searcys St Pancras, is partnering with Veuve Clicquot, Globe-Trotter and Sipsmith Gin this summer for The Art of Travelpop-up. The residency encompasses a line-up of travel-related masterclasses as well as a brand-new afternoon tea, which has been created with travel in mind to take guests on a European journey without leaving the station. The bar itself has been given a makeover for the occasion with each of the private booths being transformed into a different European destination. Running on select dates in July, August and September, the masterclass series commences with a gin tasting in collaboration with Sipsmith. Founder and Director of the Travel Photographer of the Year Awards, Chris Coe, will present a travel photography masterclass; James Fisher of Globe-Trotter will talk about the brand and give suitcase packing tips; and Sipsmith will host another gin tasting at the end of August, accompanied by a five-course dinner.
About Searcys St Pancras
Opposite The Champagne Bar on the upper concourse of St Pancras International train station is the Searcys St Pancras Restaurant, stylishly modelled by Martin Brudnizki, the designer behind Scott's and The Ivy. Taking into account the 1920s surroundings, the menu is very British with signature '20s classics as well as a few French touches to cater to guests from the other side of the Channel - it even has the menu printed in French on the reverse.
