From Benchmark Business Training, The Company Director is a practical and essential guide for directors of limited liability companies. It will address the legal obligations, duties and requirements that come with the position, in order to help you deal with these ever-changing responsibilities more effectively. In just one day at the Strand Palace Hotel, this popular seminar covers the Court's current expectations of directors, obligations of the Bribery Act, requirements under the new Corporate Manslaughter, Competition and Enterprise Acts, personal obligations regarding safety of employees, workers and sub-contractors and some of the issues surrounding employment obligations e.g. how proactive recruitment can you avoid hiring the 'employee from hell.' The seminar is interactive with a friendly tone, making it easier for you to ask David Martin, the presenter of the seminar, any questions of your own.
