The Culpeper PicnicThroughout August The Culpeper in east London is providing the chance to enjoy a picnic on their rooftop farm. Formerly the building's upper floor, the space has been transformed into a rooftop space that The Culpeper uses the space to grow fresh produce to be used throughout their menu. For the picnics, they've compiled hampers of goodies such as herb-garden crisps, a pork pie with piccalilli, duck rillettes with cornichons and roasts chicken Mediterranean vegetable with Israeli couscous salad. All polished off with a chocolate and walnut brownie, and a refreshing gin & tonic. The rooftop also has a bar which serves a range of natural wines and Prosecco, Moretti lager and Chase cocktails garnished with herbs from the rooftop.

About The Culpeper

From the outset, when Nico Treguer, Gareth Roberts and Bash Redford began restoring The Culpeper pub in June 2014, they created a rooftop kitchen garden and installed growing beds were they grew their own vegetables, salad leaves and herbs for the kitchen. More about The Culpeper
