The release of Tangled marked the 50th animated feature release for Walt Disney Studios and, to celebrate the milestone, the BFI IMAX and Disney have entered into a unique partnership to present to audiences the complete works, chronologically, over an entire year. The 50 films include all animation styles, and may occasionally even feature a little live action, but the majority of the film must be animated. They don't include films that have been released by Disney but produced by other studios and only include theatrical releases. This is an unprecedented opportunity to watch over 70 years' worth of classic film-making on the big screen. Please visit www.bfi.org.uk to find out information about films, times and prices.COMPETITION: LondonTown has a family ticket (five tickets) to the February 24th 6.20pm showing of Tangled to give away to a lucky reader. To stand a chance of winning, simply answer the following question:
What was the first Disney full-length feature?
Please send your answer and full contact details (name, address and phone number) to competitions@londontown.com by midday on Wednesday 22nd February with "Disney 50" in the subject header. First one out of the hat wins - good luck!
