The Economist's annual Innovation Awards take place at the BAFTA Theatre in Piccadilly in November, as the magazine continues to honour those who have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of progress. This will be the 11th year of the awards, with nominations having been called for on April 2nd, and an audience of 200 guests (invitation only), comprising leading figures from business, academia, science and government, will enjoy the evening hosted by John Micklethwait, The Economist's Editor-in-Chief and Tom Standage, the Digital Editor. A private dinner will follow the ceremony. If you're lucky enough to have been invited to this prestigious event and are in need of a hotel for the evening, take a look at our 195 Piccadilly (BAFTA) hotels page.
