A satire on artistic compromise by David Bell, The Gay Naked Play follows the fortunes of the Integrity Players who are suffering the indignity of performing to an audience of ten. Can New York's most successful gay theatre team turn their fortunes around with their trashy new homoerotic stage version of Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ? Directed by Andrew Beckett and produced by Above the Stag Theatre Company.

 

About Above The Stag Theatre

Above the Stag Theatre, one of London's most successful small theatres, re-opens in a brand new venue on 29th November 2013, in a renovated railway arch in Vauxhall. Homeless for 18 months when its original home, a converted function room above a pub in Victoria, was bulldozed, Peter Bull's fringe theatre opens in its new Vauxhall premises with its infamous annual adult pantomime.
