Expect glitter, paint, junk and making things from scraps at this party hosted by HungaMunga which takes over Proud in Camden one Monday night in November. A mix of arts, crafts and rock music, HungaMunga parties combine painting and papier mache with punk rock and for this special evening they're showcasing their favourite bands with Professor Geppetto H. Blowfinger as your host. Expect a carnivalesque atmosphere as Glastonbury-based band Flipron take to the stage. They'll be playing psyched-out pop tracks from their album Gravity Calling. There's support from gothic glam-rockers Tabloid and the anti-folk hero Thee Intolerable Kidd. Fancy dress is encouraged and guests can bring along their own materials for the craft making part.About Proud Camden
Alex Proud started out as a Japanese antiques dealer but a twist of fate led him to switch to photography. The impetus for change came in the form of his PA who was friendly with photographer Dennis Morris; it was his images of The Sex Pistols and Bob Marley which made up the first exhibition - and gave Proud front page coverage.
