The HushAn investigation into the emotions and politics of sound, as this contemporary work created by composer, DJ and electronic music pioneer Matthew Herbert and writer Ben Power, promises that the truth is there, if only one listens hard enough. The Hush is part-gig, part-play, part-installation - something of a departure for the National Theatre which is using its temporary 225-seat space, The Shed, to stage more experimental theatrical events.

About National Theatre

Each year the three superb venues in the National Theatre put on a significant proportion of the world's best productions. From intimate character studies in the Dorfman Theatre, to grand spectacles in the Olivier, the National Theatre is the spiritual centre of the British theatrical tradition.
