About Wilton's Music Hall

In the nineteenth century, Wilton's Music Hall was a great mirrored hall lit by a vast chandelier, with 27,000 crystals and 300 gas jets. Opera, operetta, variety shows and old-style music hall were played out to raucous cockney audiences of over 2000.
