To mark the new Alice in Wonderland film The Brickhouse supper club in Brick Lane is putting on a month of Mad Hatter fun throughout March. One of the Wonderland adventures on offer is The Mad Hatter's Banquet featuring a whole cast of burlesque and circus characters who'll entertain you while you eat some curious dishes - but hopefully none that will 'poison' you. There's the Mad Hatter, of course, played by Des O'Connor who's joined by Fancy Chance as Alice on acid, and Kiki Kabom as the curvaceous scarlet queen. Then there's the mad March hare, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, a unicycling rabbit, and an aerial dormouse, as well as special appearance from guest stars. All this entertainment is laid on while you dine on a five course menu specially designed for the occasion by head chef Matthew Reuther. Retire to the top floor where you can sip on a 'drink me' cocktail while watching the 1951 Disney version of the Alice in Wonderland film.About The Brickhouse
As anyone who's ever visited The Truman Brewery will know, the famous 18th century former beer factory does cutting edge cool with aplomb. Being a stalwart on Brick Lane the old brewery has undeniable street cred and eludes a creative, urban, arthouse vibe. More about The Brickhouse
