Following a sold out run Downstairs in 2018, director Sam Yates revives Ella Road's provocative drama about a dystopian future on the theatre's main stage. The "terrific" (The Guardian) Jade Anouka plays Bea, who falls for a man with a perfect genetic profile but does a flawless rating guarantee true love? "Black Mirror meets Brave New World" said The Guardian, giving the "racy dystopian thriller" four stars.

About Hampstead Theatre

The Hampstead Theatre has existed in various forms since 1959, when it opened in a Scout Hall and its opening season in 1959 included two new plays by Harold Pinter, The Room and The Dumb Waiter. In 1962 the company moved to a portacabin in Swiss Cottage where it remained for nearly 40 years. More about Hampstead Theatre
