Artefacts from the First, Second and Third Afghan Wars including excerpts from soldiers' letters and journals, medals and memorabilia. These items are on display alongside Matthew Cook's paintings of the current conflict in Afghanistan.

 

About National Army Museum

More than 23 million pounds has been spent on re-development of the National Army Museum which reopens in 2017 to reveal a radical transformation. Over 2,500 objects are displayed in five permanent thematic galleries, laid out over four floors - Soldier, Army, Battle, Society and Insight. More about National Army Museum
