After sell-out Edinburgh and West End seasons, a residency at the Charing Cross Theatre, and at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room, The Showstoppers come to the E4 Udderbelly Festival at the Southbank Centre this summer. Starring Ruth Bratt, Pippa Evans, David Reed and Oliver Senton, and brought to the stage by co-creator Adam Meggido and musical director Duncan Walsh-Atkins, The Showstoppers are widely acknowledged as the UK's leading improvisers as well as phenomenal musicians in their own right. "The show that makes your jaw drop in impressed amazement and your ribs ache with laughter," says The Mail On Sunday, while The Telegraph urges the public to "go marvel" at "these hideously talented regulars [who] are pushing improv in new directions".

About Southbank Centre

London's hub of cultural arts, The Southbank Centre announced in March 2013 that it's set for a £100 million revamp that will see the 1960s design finally move into the 21st century with a proposal that includes a floating glass pavilion, two more roof gardens, a space for riverside arts and a large pedestrian area.
