The SunflowersIn The Sunflowers exhibition at The National Gallery two of Vincent van Gogh's iconic Sunflower paintings, dating from 1888, are shown alongside each other for the first time in 65 years. Visitors will therefore be able to compare two of the five versions of 'Sunflowers' that are now spread across the world, examining the contrasts and exploring the artist's working practices with the help of new technology.

About National Gallery

The National Gallery dominates London's Trafalgar Square with its neo-classical columns and portico designed by William Wilkins adjoining the square on its east side where it has been pedestrianised. Some of the finest examples of European art, ranging from 1260 to 1900, are included among the 2,300 paintings filling its halls and rooms. More about National Gallery
