Images of Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Elizabeth Taylor capture the glamour of the golden era of Italian cinema in a major exhibition at London's Estorick Collection this summer. The Years of La Dolce Vita displays images by photographer Marcello Geppetti and film cameraman Arturo Zavattini revealing a behind-the-scenes insight into Italian cinema and the rise of the celebrity culture during the 1950s and 1960s, predominantly during the era of films by Michelangelo Antonioni (best known for 'Blowup', a 1966 drama set in Swinging London) and Federico Fellini (whose masterpieces include 'La Strada', 'La Dolce Vita', 'Roma', 'Amarcord', '8 and a half', and 'Ginger and Fred'), and of the Roman Cinecitta studios, the gateway to Italy's Hollywood.
