The line-up for this month-long series of free gigs is always kept under wraps until the last moment ? but last year saw the festival's biggest line-up to date with 65 acts performing over 30 days in the iconic Camden venue. In the past the festival has featured some stellar acts, including Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Adele, One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris ? to name but a few. Tickets for these intimate gigs are free but to apply you must enter a competition by going to the festival's official website, Facebook page or download the app for up-to-date additions to the line-up.
About Roundhouse
It's great to see this fabulous arts venue re-open its doors after a stunning refurbishment. Boasting a colourful history, the Roundhouse initially started life as an engine shed. It was later transformed into a bonded warehouse for Gilbey's Gin before Arnold Wesker the playwright came along in 1964 and established Centre 42 here, insisting it became one of the most cutting-edge performing arts venue in the country.
