To Have and to HonkFour musicians and their wheelbarrow full of fourteen musical instruments are heading to a wedding but don't expect everything to go smoothly with The Honk Project at the helm. In To Have and to Honk there's lots of clowning around and live music as the troupe of eccentric misfits perform a play which makes the most of physical theatre, resulting in a highly visual, frolicsome, fusion of first class clowning and music. The four members of The Honk Project troupe have a wealth of experience in clowning around with Amy Howard, the originator of the project, having played music for Giffords Circus, and touring with The Rude Mechanical Theatre Company. Joining her is banjo player Ed Hicks, also a member of Ramshacklicious street theatre company, Holly Stoddart (No Fit State Circus, Ramshacklicious Theatre), and Jaimie Carswell, a founding member of Ireland's Mangiare Theatre Company. The Honk Project is appearing at several locations in the South East as part of a spring tour running from 13th March to 25th April including The Albany, Stratford Circus and Jacksons Lane Theatre in London. For full details check out www.honkproject.com.
