Learn how to make your own glass baubles this Christmas at The Making Space where they're running a special Tree Decorations Workshop. Simon, a prop maker who trained with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, who runs regular courses at The Making Space has brought in a specialist glass blower for this seasonal Christmas class. You'll get to work with some gorgeous hand blown baubles and all that is required of you is to go along and decorate them. In the workshop, you will be taught how to use translucent glass paints and metallic edging as well as wire to create your own set of decorations to take home. The ticket price - a reasonable ?25 - covers all materials, as well as gin and nibbles.

About The Making Space
Learn some crafty manouveurs at Making Space where classes on mask making, glass engraving, pyrography (burning patterns into wood or leather), chainmail knitting, and book hollowing are just some of the unusual skills on offer. The work space, close to Shoreditch and run by RADA-trained prop maker Simon Aronson, also offers seasonal workshops so at Halloween you can learn how to create a pumpkin face, and at Christmas, tree decorations are made with the help of a glass blowing expert so you can make your own baubles.
