This impressive parade marks Mer Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s official birthday. It’s a spectacular piece of pageantry that also serves to demonstrate the strength of the armed forces which the Queen has under her control. A different Battalion gives the Royal Salute each year. At 12:50 there’s a gun salute in Green Park and at 13:00 a fly-past by the Royal Air Force.
