Turning Point FestivalThe Roundhouse in Camden has handed over its keys to a cluster of creative tyros for a three-day festival of music, fashion, circus and more. Turning Point house guests include retro pop artiste VV Brown (who describes her sound as "musical mashed potatoes"), London indie rockers Noisettes, N.A.S.T.Y. rapper Kano, Ghanaian-born grime music artist Tinchy Stryder and beatboxer Beardyman. Added gravitas and credibility will come from celebrated Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, who will play a set on the opening night. BBQs, buskers, poets, dancers, fashion shows - you name it - will take place outside and in the building before and alongside the headlining musical entertainment in what could well provide a Turning Point for many talented young creative professionals.

About Roundhouse

It's great to see this fabulous arts venue re-open its doors after a stunning refurbishment. Boasting a colourful history, the Roundhouse initially started life as an engine shed. It was later transformed into a bonded warehouse for Gilbey's Gin before Arnold Wesker the playwright came along in 1964 and established Centre 42 here, insisting it became one of the most cutting-edge performing arts venue in the country.
