WHY? What's Happening for the Young Olivia Colman, Brigitte Aphrodite and Complicite theatre company are all part of WHY? What's Happening for the Young, a festival where the Southbank Centrecelebrates the rights of children and young people and explores what rights they really have today. Actor Olivia Colman and vlogger Grace Victory are just two of the speakers giving daily talks. Complicite presents Seen and Not Heard, a new immersive performance installation produced by 11-16 year olds. Families can also take part in free activities including dance workshops, outdoor games including a mass game of 'it' hosted by game design studio Antidote, free performances from the Future Talent orchestra and a 'Big Sing' workshop.

About Southbank Centre

London's hub of cultural arts, The Southbank Centre announced in March 2013 that it's set for a £100 million revamp that will see the 1960s design finally move into the 21st century with a proposal that includes a floating glass pavilion, two more roof gardens, a space for riverside arts and a large pedestrian area.
