This Fireworks extravaganza at Wimbledon Park is the first of two Guy Fawkes events taking place in Merton this year, with the second happening a day later at Morden Park on Saturday 5th November. At both venues there are two shows, one for children at 6.45pm and a second for adults starting at 8.30pm. There will also be two bonfires, both will be lit 15 minutes before each display begins. A jaunt around the stalls and fairground rides will warm you up before the explosive grand finale and they'll continue to entertain the crowds until 10pm. - 5.15pm - Gates open.
- 6.30pm - First bonfire lit.
- 6.45pm - First fireworks display to a Disney theme. This display is more suitable for young children.
- 8.15pm - Second bonfire lit.
- 8.30pm - Second fireworks display. The 'Best of British'.
- Fairground, stalls and refreshments open until 10.00pm
