Step inside the heated big top at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland to see a troupe of high wire acrobats, trapeze artist sisters and a juggler with a Guinness world record. Captivating circus for young children and their families, Zippos presents a high energy routine for Christmas with dare devil antics by a unicyclist, roller skaters and a clown with oversized beach balls. He asks three un(lucky) members of the audience to join him in the ring for some amateur dramatics, much to the amusement of the paying public. The whole thing has an old fashioned tone with the ringmaster saying 'ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls'. The whole troupe comes together for the finale, backed by larger-than-life polar bears.
About Hyde Park
Technically two different parks, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are in practical terms one huge, merging expanse. The 'split' dates back to 1728 when Queen Caroline, wife of George II, took almost 300 acres from Hyde Park to form Kensington Gardens. The 350 acres that remained has become one of London's best-loved parks. More about Hyde Park
