Best known for her street photography and portraiture, Dorothy Bohm has been taking snapshots of the women of London for over two decades now and the resulting Women in Focus collection is now exhibited at the Museum of London. The photographs capture various female subjects in a style that contrasts them against their capital city surroundings, with shop windows, magazine pictorials, advertising billboards and artworks becoming the backdrops, highlighting the relationship between feminine portrayals and the realities of womanhood.
