Soho jazz haunt Ronnie Scott's celebrates International Woman's Day with a special week of shows featuring some of the world's finest female band leaders. British artists lined up to perform include the singer Norma Winstone, who plays two gigs with her latest project, The Printmakers, alongside the pianist Nikki Iles. Berklee graduate Rachel Z, the distinguished keyboard and piano player, performs a brace of gigs alongside the drummer Omar Hakim, while the internationally renowned American flautist and singer Bobbi Humphrey, one of the first women to be signed to the legendary Blue Note label, takes to the stage for the week's finale. Support comes from the Janette Mason Trio, the guitarist Deidre Cartwright, Swedish singer Emilia Martensson, drummer Michele Drees and Norwegian soprano sax specialist Froy Aagre.
