This small suspension bridge links Chelsea with Battersea between Ranelagh Gardens and Battersea Park. The original Chelsea Bridge survived only until the early 1930s when it was replaced by an altogether more modern structure in 1934. Now clusters of shining lights laced round the giant balustrades spectacularly illuminate the bridge. The glowing reflection softly shimmers across the Thames providing a romantic backdrop for a gentle evening stroll.
